Setting and deleting organizations
The organization owner can perform the following actions on the organization overview page.
- Change the organization name
- Change the organization member limit
- Change the organization owner
- Delete the organization
By default, the user who creates the organization becomes the owner.
Change organization name
To change the organization name, click Change Organization Name, and a dialog on a precaution will appear.
After confirming the warning for changing the organization name, click Acknowledge the above and change the organization name.
Enter the new organization name, then click Change Organization Name to change the organization name.
Change member limit
To change the member limit, click Change Member Limit, and a dialog will appear.
Enter the desired number and click Confirm to change the member limit. Please note that the new limit cannot be lower than the current number of members and valid invites. For example, if there are currently 5 members and 2 valid invites, the member limit can be changed to 7 or more.
Change owner
To change the owner, click Change Owner, and a dialog will appear.
Select the member you want to set as the owner, then click Confirm to complete changing the owner. Any member who is part of the organization can be set as the owner. Only one owner can be set at a time. If the user whose role is member of the organization is set as the owner, the user's role will switch to admin.
Delete the organization
To delete the organization, click Delete, then the following confirmation dialog is displayed.
Confirm the displayed contents and enter the organization name. Then click Agree to irreversible deletion and delete the organization to delete it. Please be aware that deleting the organization will remove all repositories and data within it, and it cannot be restored.
